Vacuum Relief Valves
Prevents blowers from operating above maximum vacuum limits by letting atmospheric air into the blower inlet. A vacuum relief valve should always be used when there is any chance that the inlet of the blower or process could become blocked or dead-headed. Without it, high vacuum levels may overload the motor, while insufficient airflow may create excessive heat loads on the blower resulting in premature bearing failure.
