Operations
These vacuum pumps use sliding vanes in a rotor, which is eccentrically positioned in a stator, to trap and extract the volume from between the vanes, rotor and stator. The trapped volume can be vented to the atmosphere for vacuum applications, or it may be compressed into piping or a cavity at the discharge for pressure service.
